Full HD 1080p/24 Video Output

The Blu-ray format supports up to five times the resolution of DVD, and offers some of the most stunning imagery available. The DBP-2012UDCIP supports full HD 1080p video output (1920 x 1080 pixels) to take advantage of this format. It also supports video played back at 24 frames per second for a theater-like picture quality.

Interlaced to Progressive Scaling

The DBP-2012UDCI employs an Anchor Bay Technologies VRS ultra performance ABT-2015 processor to allow you to enjoy higher quality video from your interlaced source materials like DVDs. It also features Analog Devices 12-bit/297MHz video D/A conversion with noise shaped video processing. The unit allows for exquisite HD 1080i to 1080p deinterlacing for smooth, lifelike video from interlaced sources.

High Fidelity Audio

This unit offers Burr Brown D/A converters for stereo audio with 32-bit/192kHz resolution. Multi-channel content is automatically mixed down to the high resolution analog stereo output.

Network Functionality

Once you connect the unit to your home internet connection via the built-in LAN port, you can take advantage of additional features. Without the use of a PC, you can enjoy streaming from Netflix and Youtube as well as display music, photo and video files stored on a network-connected component like a PC or NAS.

BD Live (Profile 2.0) for Bonus Content

The system supports BD-Live Profile 2.0 through its Ethernet plug-in, so you can download and stream bonus features from the internet for your favorite Blu-ray titles using the on-board memory. Access privileged bonus contents like filmmaker chats and interactive quizzes.

Deep Color and x.v. Color Support

Support for Deep Color and x.v. Color, allows expression of more colors than the conventional 8-bit and can reproduce more natural colors without any color streaking.

Jitter-Free Operation

Direct Mechanical Ground Construction provides vibration resistance and the rear-mounted disc mechanism sends vibration through to the feet for optimum AV playback. Individual block structure protects against mutual interference from electricity or magnetic fields to give you the highest quality video and audio.

Independent Block Construction

To ensure high fidelity video and audio signals, this disc player features electronic circuits that have been separated to prevent electronic and electromagnetic noise caused by various electronic signals in the unit.

HDMI Control

When connected to a TV or A/V receiver that supports the HDMI control function to this unit using an HDMI cable, and enabling the HDMI control settings on each device, you can enjoy streamlined control using one remote.

Ease of Use

Operation is easy with the user-friendly GUI and Glo-key remote control for easy use in dark viewing environments. Additionally, you can select the HDMI resolution of your choice on the front panel of the unit to allow for the highest quality video your HDTV is capable of producing.
