This new open-back dynamic headphone uses a newly-developed transducer with a two-layer diaphragm for unsurpassed transient response and accuracy.
- AKG’s patented Varimotion design varies the diaphragm’s thickness: the 80 µm center zone is virtually pistonic for well-balanced HF response, while the 40 µm perimeter is highly elastic to accommodate the increased excursion required for accurate midrange and LF reproduction.
